Novuyo has had short fiction published in several anthologies such as The Bed Book of Short Stories and A Life In Full and Other Stories: Caine Prize Anthology 2010. She was the winner of the Intwasa Short Story Competition 2009. Currently, she is pursuing her studies at the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa. She has attended writing workshops including the Farafina Summer Writing Workshop 2010 and the Caine Prize African Writing Workshop 2010 in Kenya.
