John S. Read

John was born in Harare and has lived in Mashonaland and Midlands as part of farming communities. He trained in Pietermaritzburg, Cape Town and Oxford. He joined the National University of Science and Technology in Bulawayo from the University of Zimbabwe as Professor of Applied Biology and Biochemistry in 2000 and is now a Professor at the University of Botswana.
