Anne Simone Hutton
Originally from Germany, Anne came to Zimbabwe in 1990. Between 1994 and 2002 she had a studio at the National Gallery in Bulawayo from where she painted for her annual exhibitions. She has lived in Europe, Zimbabwe and New Zealand, painting and writing. Anne has now returned to Europe only to be closer to Africa. Her work might not exist had she not lived in Bulawayo.
Her poem Edge won the Firstwriter Seventh International Poetry Competition.
