Echoes of Young Voices is a book of ten stories and twelve poems, written by twenty young people from Bulawayo, from the British Council sponsored Identity and Diversity group. The writers are: Bongani Ncube, Bubelo Thabela Mlilo, Novuyo Rosa Tshuma, Mercy T. Dube, Babongeni Zangelo Mlilo, Lesley Phiri, Sarhanna Hassim, Munyaradzi Alfonce Gova, Babusi Nyoni, Nadia Gori, Thando Khupe, Khumbulani Malinga, Tanya Hunt, Zisunko Ndlovu, Lindah Mafu, Brian Dzapasi, Michael Hove, Nothando Mlalazi, Mandla Khabo and Andilamaqhawe D. Ncube. The pieces cover many issues related to the themes of personal and collective identity and diversity, including family, tribe, race, alienation, AIDS and gender.
